H.E. Doris A.D. Brese, High Commissioner of the Republic of Ghana to Australia, met with senior Ghanaian citizens in Sydney, New South Wales at the Testimony Hub, Wetherill Park on 25th July 2026 as part of the High Commission’s engagement with the Ghanaian diaspora in Australia. In her remarks, the High Commissioner recognized the contributions of the senior citizens towards Ghana’s development over the years and highlighted the important role the diaspora plays in national affairs as the 17th region of the country. Discussions focused on how the Mission and the seniors can support one another, on the transfer of knowledge, skills and expertise from Australia to Ghana, and on consular matters among others.
